Jack Wendling, Ben Broselle, and Jake Broselle are currently representing the USA Men's Sevens team at the HSBC SVNS tournament in Perth, Australia. This remarkable achievement showcases the strength of Chuckanut's player development and the opportunities our club provides for aspiring rugby athletes.

Jack Wendling: Leading by Example
Jack Wendling, a standout from Chuckanut and Central Washington University, has been named co-captain for the squad in Perth. Jack's leadership and skills on the pitch continue to impress, and his journey from our club fields to the world stage is an inspiration to all Chuckanut players.

Ben Broselle, a seasoned USA Sevens veteran, makes his return to the squad following an injury layoff. Perth marks his first 2024-25 SVNS tournament, and his presence brings experience and firepower to the team. Ben's resilience and dedication are testaments to the hard work instilled at Chuckanut.

Jake Broselle: Poised for His Debut
Jake Broselle has traveled to Perth as a reserve, ready to step up should the opportunity arise. If called upon, Jake could make his National Team debut, an exciting prospect for Chuckanut supporters who have followed his journey from youth rugby to the international arena.

For the USA 7s Eagles, competing in this series is crucial preparation for the upcoming Olympics and a chance to test their mettle against the world's elite.

We also look forward to the chance to see the three of them play in the upcoming Vancouver 7s tournament scheduled the weekend of February 21st this year at BC Place, a mere 40 minutes from our pitch. This will be an incredible opportunity for Chuckanut supporters to watch their hometown heroes in action and cheer them on in person.
